A young boxer named Robert James was tragically killed last night during an undercard boxing match. Eye witnesses report that the young man was doing poorly in the fight and resorted to using desperation tactics which ultimately led to his death. During the tenth round, the young man, trailing in the points, felt that it was now or never and began what was to be one of the most bizarre tactics ever used in a boxing ring.
The young man reportedly ran away from his opponent, then spun around and "charged" at him, much like a bull charges at a matador. His oppenent countered by socking the young man in his gut. Robert's eyes bulged out, and he slowly sank to the canvas from which he would never get up from. Doctors later ruled that his death was caused by Robert's ribs being shattered and one of the bone fragments piercing his heart.
When reached for comment, Robert's coach told us that he had no idea why Robert would even attempt such a bold and bizarre move. When asked about the final day of Robert's life, his manager had this to say: "He was in such good spirit for this match. We spent the day celebrating and even played a quick game of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out before the game. Robert sometimes called Punch-Out the only training he needed for boxing. He was a good kid." Robert's manager then told us to join the Nintendo Fun Club. Funeral services for Robert will be held next Wednesday.
